40 Mile Loop from the North Conway Grand Hotel to Bear Notch Road and back to North Conway. This is a great option for family and friends of Century riders (but all are welcome!).

Participants will register at the North Conway Grand Hotel in North Conway, NH and will ride 40 miles. Rider level should coincide with mileage and terrain to be covered.

Registration starts at 8AM sharp at the North Conway Grand Hotel. There will be a mass start at 9:00 AM. 40 mile riders should arrive back in North Conway with participants of the Three Day ride and faster Century riders…just in time for post-ride festivities!

Starting at the North Conway Grand Hotel in North Conway, participants will ride out of North Conway on Rt. 16 and take a right onto Eastside Rd. Ride through the covered bridge and take a right onto West Side Rd. Take a left onto Passaconway Rd. and ride to the junction of Rt. 112 West and hop on the Kancamagus Highway.  Riders will take a right onto Bear Notch Road and stop at the Bear Notch Overlook (CHECKPOINT) for snacks, water, etc. and will continue down Bear Notch (a superb, newly paved downhill!) into Bartlett. Take a right in Bartlett onto Route 16 and continue on through Glen and Intervale and in North Conway, take a left (at the light, after Joe Jones) onto Kearsarge Road. Take a right (at the railroad tracks) onto North South Road. Take a right into Settler’s Green and the North Conway Grand Hotel.

The route will be marked with red and white signs.
